Were the words just uttered on The Daily Politics Show. How disappointing.

However, he states that he likes cross-party support on issues such as the high speed rail network.

C’mon Adonis, the Labour Party will be in the wilderness for the next decade, lend your support if asked and do your bit for the good of the country.

Sun FP Labour conf

So long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, goodnight

Can’t wait to buy a copy! Another epic Labour fail, apart from the absurd comment by delusive Tw**terer Kerry McCarthy MP “Who needs The Sun when we’ve got twitter (wtf?!?) is this interview that Iain Dale has linked to. Brown is obviously very angry and just look at that ice cold stare he gives Adam Boulton at the end. I’m guessing there’ll be some flying Nokias afterwards. I bet the Labour Party will be a lot more peaceful and a nice place to be in once mentalist pill-popper Brown is out.

Those pictures coupled along with his “British Jobs For British Workers” slogan and just recently stealing the BNP’s idea with his ‘Gulags For Slags‘ proposals (not my phrase) must surely be raising a few eyebrows.

(n.b. this is an attempted humorous post and I don’t for one minute think Brown is a racist or in any way connected to the BNP)

Luck really hasn’t been on his side. Here is the list of ‘memorable events’ that have happened during his premiership according to the ‘List of Prime Ministers of the United Kingdom Wikipedia page‘:

London car bombs;
Glasgow Airport attack
;
foot-and-mouth outbreak (2007);
national floods
;
child benefit data misplaced
;
Donorgate

Treaty of Lisbon
;
42 Days detention

;
Financial crisis of 2007–2009;
Parliamentary expenses scandal

Even John Major has the Northern Ireland Peace Project! Poor Gordon, he has been the most useless unluckiest Prime Minister of all time.

Apparently Brown won’t be confirming the leadership debate…

New Labour, Old Tricks

Apparently in a draft of his speech, Gordon Brown said he’d be willing to partake in the leadership debates. However, his final draft apparently omits it. C’mon Gordon, don’t be a coward all your life!

UPDATE: He chickened out…

BREAKING NEWS: Brown agrees to debate after Lib Dems move ahead of Labour

Gordon Brown is ready to debate with David Cameron on TV not just during the general election campaign but before it, the BBC understands.

The prime minister is said to be deciding overnight whether to include in his speech to the Labour conference a call for a series of debates.

Of course he bloody will! Labour need all the help they can get and in my opinion, Gordon Brown may save a few seats. Or lost a lot more. In other news, the latest Ipsos-MORI poll puts the post-Lib Dem mood at: ‘Tories on 36%, Labour on 24% and the Liberal Democrats on 25%.’

Polanski should feel the full force of the law

Child rapist

Child rapist

Roman Polanski raped a 13 year old girl. He is a child molester and deserves to be punished. It doesn’t matter what decade he did it in, just because he’s evaded capture for 30 years doesn’t nullify the crime.

The victim may well have forgiven him but I bet she wasn’t fine with it at the time. He still committed one of the most atrocious crimes of all – child molesting and therefore should get the punishment he deserves.

All these people jumping up and down about how atrocious his arrest is should ask themselves what they’d do in the same situation. Imagine if someone raped you or a member of your family. Wouldn’t you want them to feel the full force of the law? If they got away and escaped, wouldn’t you want them to come back and be punished for the crime they committed? He should be flown back to the US and sentenced. He’ll probably serve less of his sentence than he would have if he hadn’t escaped to France as he’s an old man but justice must be served. Just because people like what he did in his career, it doesn’t mean he should be excused from raping a child.

It gets worse and worse for Baroness Scotland

September 23, 2009 | Filed Under General, UK Politics | 1 Comment

A Parliamentary aide to Baroness Scotland has resigned over the Attorney General’s refusal to stand down after she employed an illegal immigrant.
In a letter to the Prime Minister, Wirral West MP Stephen Hesford said: “My decision comes about because as an aide to the Law Officers, whilst I have great personal regard for the Attorney General, I cannot support the decision which allows her to remain in office.”
Lady Scotland was fined £5,000 for breaching employment laws when it emerged she had failed to take photocopies of documents shown to her by her housekeeper, who turned out to be an illegal worker.

Right, so an aide has the balls to quit but Scotland doesn’t and Brown refuses to sack her. She needs to quit straight away or risk doing further damage and letting this snowball even more. What a stupid and naive woman.
